In case you haven’t heard, TravelDrivers is a concierge service that makes it easy to find exceptional, vetted private driver-guides for personalized touring while traveling outside the US. Our “TravelDrivers” serve as chauffeurs, tour guides, companions, security guards, interpreters, teachers and coaches, so that you can have a carefree authentic vacation experience with the freedom to go anywhere and do anything safely… *in your own time* *in your own way*.
I am the Founder and owner and this is my passion project. I created this business because using private drivers allowed me to travel solo throughout the world, even in places considered dangerous for women, fearlessly! Nevertheless, it was challenging to find exceptional drivers, especially in certain countries. I noticed that the quality and qualities, or characteristics of each driver could make or even break my travel experience. I knew it needed to be easier for travelers to find quality driver-guides and decided to create a website through which they could find them – easily – drivers that they could truly trust to act in their best interests, so that they could book them with confidence and experience truly blissful vacations, free from the typical problems and worries that can take away from the total relaxation that one so needs and desires when traveling.
Travel abroad involves so many variables and, to be honest, so many risks! There are a lot of opportunities for things to go wrong, which can be costly and even dangerous. I believe that the best and smoothest travel experience is one where you are driven and guided by an experienced local – one who is kind and honest and knowledgeable and who really cares about your experience – one who helps you to handle any difficulties that might arise – one who is, as I define them, a true “TravelDriver”. I am on a mission to teach travelers about this wonderful way to see the world.
