16th ANNUAL NOVEMBER FOOD DRIVE

November 21st-23rd Food Drive (Dry rice, beans, pastas, canned vegetables & fruit) will be distributed to 100+ low income clinic families. Volunteers welcome to help with food outreach. Food items must be delivered no later than 11/18/16 please.

29th ANNUAL AIDS POSADA

December 2nd, @6:30pm. Community candlelight procession starting at the HSFC & walking east on Sunset to the Echo Park United Methodist Church, headed by mariachis, community members, officials, business owners & residents sharing their personal HIV/AIDS experiences. Hot pozole and entertainment await participants at the final stop.

37TH ANNUAL CHILDRENS’ CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

December 15th @3:00pm 200+ children (in 5-6 groups) are entertained by Santa’s helpers, receive a gift, popcorn and candy canes too! Volunteers are welcome on this day to sing, pass out gifts, popcorn & candy canes. The Santa Team will collect toys* from various places in the L.A. community. Come join in on the fun! (*toys like soccer balls, footballs, baseballs, volley balls., jump rope to encourage exercise)

30th ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCHEON

December 25th from 11am-2pm low income families will be served a hot meal of turkey/ham, potatoes/rice, salad & desert. Children receive a toy from Santa. Volunteers are welcome to contribute a dish or two, serve lunch, sing carols and enjoy great company!

VOLUNTEERS WELCOME!!! Join in on the fun.
