I am pleased to announce that one of my paintings, Arizona, was selected by the Los Angeles Art Association’s Exhibition Committee to be included in its exclusive Annual Benefit Auction on Saturday, August 1, 2015. According to its press release, “Hundreds of LA’s most influential movers and shakers will be in attendance.” The Live Auction presented by Bonhams begins promptly at 7:15 pm. Items will be also available for online bidding through Paddle8 before the August 1 festivities.
Also included in the auction are works from well known established Los Angeles artists such as Shepard Fairey, Ed Ruscha and Ed Moses, just to name a few. Because this is a fundraising event, for our donated works we have given permission to Bonhams to accept opening bids significantly below market values. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity to acquire art at exceptionally reasonable prices.
You may view these more than 125 works of art by going to LAAA’s website and clicking on “Annual Benefit Auction.” Then, just above “Purchase Tickets,” click on “preview artwork”. If you wish to attend the Live Auction, I recommend you purchase tickets in advance as they will be either more expensive or not available at the door. Online bidding begins on July 17 at 3 pm PST. Other information can also be found on the website:www.laaa.org
Below, is a photograph of Arizona. I hope you are enjoying your summer thus far. Take care,
Brenda
